Onboarding Flows

Purpose

Onboarding Flows manages application-based onboarding with role assignment, review flows, and optional automated approvals.

Prerequisites

• Staff permissions for Onboarding Flows panel.
• At least one destination channel for submissions/review.

Dashboard Settings

• Flow tab metadata: flow name, approval mode, role gates.
• Channels: registration, log, and welcome destinations.
• Message slots: welcome, registered, approved, delayed (Message Builder-backed).
• Flow Panels section: Create selector-driven panels (must include Onboarding Flow Selector).
• Form Builder tab: Build modal intake form tied to each flow.

Command / Function Surface

• No dedicated slash post command in production docs.
• Member interaction starts from flow panels and selectors configured in dashboard.
• Review queue is available via "Manage Applications" from the flow tab.

Role Web Access and Entitlements

• Panel access can be role-scoped with Role Web Access.
• Flow tab count is subscription-limited by plan.

Edge Cases

• Flow name is immutable after creation.
• Unsaved flow edits are tracked per tab.
• Deleting a flow removes its configuration and linked behavior.

Troubleshooting

• "Cannot create more flows": check plan limits.
• Selector panel cannot Send/Sync: add an Onboarding Flow Selector to the panel.
• Form missing: open the Form Builder tab once to initialize and link form builder ID.
